The current study aims to investigate Holliday’s theory of transitivity with a comparative analysis of the text of the two novels “Jane Eyre” by Charlotte Bronte and” Beloved” by Toni Morris. The study will focus on the identification and description of different processes and circumstances used in the text. For this study, the researcher will collect data from the said novels by applying the tools of observation and deep study.
